At the Ayurveda College we offer, evaluate, develop and disseminate Classical Ayurveda Natural Health programs. These programs foster ethical, professional and social development, which equate to the State and National quality standards. As a “Life Long Training Centre” we provide you with a learning environment most suited for classical Ayurveda and related Natural Health modalities. Our policies and management practices encourage and support the effective use of quality training and industry consultation to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness in our practices. These practices include quality Professional healthcare, client support and services, confidentiality, client rights, access and equity, equal opportunity, all legal and industry compliance, education, training, assessments and services in Ayurveda and related Natural Health modalities.

 The Ayurveda College operates under a Code of Practice designed to provide the basis of good professional practice in education, training, delivery, and assessments, in marketing, finance and administration.

The Code of Practice has been adopted in conjunction with our quality assurance procedures, for Industry leadership and to meet The Vocational Education, Training and Employment Act 2000, The Vocational Education, Training and Employment Regulation 2000, The Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (the ESOS ACT),  The National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students (the National Code)2007, The Education Services for Overseas Students Regulations 2001 (the Regulations 2001) & 2007, All Department of Education & Training and regulations &  The Skilling Australia’s Workforce (Repeal and Transitional Provisions) Act 2005.

It may be summarized as follows:

  • – The Ayurveda College will adopt policies and management practices which support high professional standards in the delivery of education & training and which safeguard the interest and welfare of its students/ clients.
  • – The Ayurveda College will maintain a learning environment that is most conducive to the Ayurvedic health education, training and practices of its clients/ students.
  • – The Ayurveda College will have the capacity to deliver the courses on its scope of registration, to provide adequate facilities, equipment and materials appropriate for courses.
  • – The Ayurveda College will continuously monitor and assess the performance and progress of its clients/ students.
  • – The Ayurveda College will ensure that its teaching and assessing staff are suitably qualified, have access for training as may be required and are sensitive to the cultural and learning needs of its clients/ students.
  • – The Ayurveda College will supply accurate, relevant and up to date information to prospective clients/ students.
  • – The Ayurveda College will recruit clients/ students in an ethical and responsible manner.
  • – The Ayurveda College acknowledges “Mutual Recognition” and “Recognises Prior Learning” of clients/ students.
  • – The Ayurveda College will use “Good Practice” in the recognition process to minimize Resource and Recognition costs and in judging the evidence.
  • – This information will be supplied to clients/ students before they enroll with the College.
  • – The Ayurveda College will make sure that the educational background of clients/ students is assessed by suitably qualified staff.
  • – The Ayurveda College adopts a fair and equitable refund policy.
  • – The Ayurveda College will ensure that the contractual and financial relationship between the College and the client/ student is fully and properly documented and that these details are available to them.
  • – The Ayurveda College will market its educational services with accuracy and integrity.
  • – The Ayurveda College will ensure that its clients/ students have access to fair and equitable process for dealing with grievances and maintain a right of appeal against decisions that may affect the client/ student’s progress.
  • – The Ayurveda College will keep complete and accurate records of attendance and progress of clients/ students as well as financial records that reflect all payments made and will provide access to these records to all clients/ students upon request.
  • – The Ayurveda College will provide this information with the course brochure to clients/ students before they enroll.
