This course is a continuation of the Introductory course and covers its contents in greater detail and teaches how to apply the same in clinical settings.
This course reflects the role of Ayurvedic consultants who provide advice, selected remedies and therapies like Abhyanga, Kati/ Uro Basti, Shirodhara, Facial Ubtans, Cleanses -Sat Karma, Yoga Kriyas, introduction to meditation, diet and nutrition guidelines and lifestyle changes to suit Prakrti and Vikrti according to Ayurvedic principles.
People working at this level may be self-employed independent practitioners or work in a larger health service.

Health consultation process including clinic etiquette and legal obligations

The three/ eight/ ten assessment processes that lead to diagnosis

Srotas systems and how to keep them healthy

Regular cooking classes, learning to cook for different ages, seasons and Vikrti

More detailed study on Rasayana, Vajikarana and Chikitsa processes

Making Maand, Khichari, Kashaya, Taila, Balms, Ghrita, Vatti, Guggulu and Choorana

Most important herbs and medicine in clinic practice including Chooranas, Tailas, Kashayas, Vatti, Guggulu, Shilajeet, Avaleha, Asava, Arishta and complex formulations.

Shiro-Abhyanga, Self-Abhyanga, Abhyanga, Katti/ Uro Basti, Shirodhara, Facial Ubtans, Sat Karma in detail, clinic practices and etiquette

Chikitsa therapies to address various Vikrti including inflammation, infection and trauma

460 hours of clinic work hours with practitioner trainer led training are integral part of the course

Clinic training to start in the first few weeks of the course

All classes and clinic training must be attended for course completion
